Spring Cleaning: 2010

What is it about spring time that makes people want to clean & fix up their homes?  I don't quite understand it but just like everyone else, we've done our share of spring cleaning.  "Out with the old, in with the new" has been my saying for the past month and Cammer Avenue is looking a lot better because of it!

A few weeks ago, we decided that it was time to retire our washer & dryer.  The water that was pouring out of the washer each time it entered the spin cycle was becoming a bit of a nuisance.  The Salvation Army came to pick up our old machines & that prompted the decision to paint the room.  After a couple coats of paint & a new w/d set, doing laundry has never looked so good.  (Nor has it ever been that quiet in our household.)  Thanks to Aunt Lynne & Uncle Bill for helping with the new set!  :)

Along with painting the laundry room, I FINALLY finished painting my bathroom.  YAY!  Thanks to mom for picking out the bathroom & laundry room paint colors...my fear for making decisions kept the bathroom on hold for 6 months!  We also got a couple new rugs & a new backdoor.  It's been an exciting couple of months & as you can imagine, we are ready for warm weather.  It seems like we've been inside way too much!
