"Wicked" opened this past week at the Peace Center in Greenville & we went opening night to see the "untold story of the Wicked Witch of the West". It was fabulous and our seats were awesome. The Peace Center is not very big so there isn't a bad seat in the house, but our's couldn't have been much better. We were in the center of the Orchestra section. Of course, my favorite was the "Popular" song and Parks seemed to enjoy that one as well. :) Before the show, the Link Magazine photographer requested a photo of us. She could have taken a better photo, or at least let me preview it, but what's done is done. Click
here to see proof that Parks attended a musical (photo 31). Apparently the show is sold out for the entire three weeks it's in town. After seeing it, I'm not surprised!

This past weekend was one of the first in a while that we didn't have any major plans and it was so nice. Our friends, Bill & Kari, came to Greenville Friday evening for dinner & then headed back to Clemson before the roads got bad. It started sleeting & snowing on Friday night and we woke up Saturday morning to a yard full of ice, snow, & sleet. The dogs loved it, and since the power stayed on, I did too! We lounged around the house most of the day and then braved the winter storm for dinner at Soby's on Saturday night. The roads were a bit icy & the sidewalks were worse... we slipped and slided a few blocks in the snow to the restaurant and it was well worth it! The sun was out on Sunday so most of the ice melted away, but they are calling for more snow & ice this weekend too! I'm really hoping we can have another relaxing few days at home.
