MS 150 in Greenville

On the last weekend in September, my mom & her pal Brooke came to stay with us in Greenville for the MS 150 bike ride. On Friday night, Brooke, Mom, Berry, Mike (two other friends riding), and I all went out to dinner & loaded up on carbs. Saturday morning the girls got up early to tackle the first 80 miles. They left from the Greenville Drive stadium and headed around town and then South? The girls made it through day one, and were lounging around when I got home from the Clemson football game. Mom, Brooke, Parks and I went out for dinner and to load up on carbs again! It was a nice evening, but we were all anxious to get to bed! Sunday morning, the rooster crowed and they were up for the last part of the race. They departed from the baseball field and headed north for the mountains. Later that afternoon, I headed up to the baseball stadium to see the gang finish up. I was there when they rode down the last hill and got some good pictures of them riding the last stretch. I was so proud-- my eyes filled with tears as I saw my mom finish up!
